Configuration Templates - Examples

MDM Configuration Template

This setting is recommended when using an MDM system. App updates are not shown and allowed directly through the app. Logout by user is deactivated. Connection mode is set to hybrid and switching by user is deactivated.

DACH Region Template

This template will activate the hybrid mode, request a device description from the user and downloads DACH.

Safety Warner

This feature is activated in a two-step process. First, enable this setting with the toggle to make the feature visible in PTV Navigator G2 under Menu → System → Assistants. Then, the user needs to activate the feature in the Assistants menu.

The use of the safety warner function is prohibited in certain countries. It is the users' responsibility to inform themselves about the applicable regulations before using this function. PTV Logistics shall not be liable for any legal violations by users and the resulting consequences imposed on users!

ExtApp button - Set ExtApp button using your own app icon. You can open your app directly from the PTV Navigator G2. Visible in the main screen and while navigating.
